"As supplement I send some pictures [...] of the plunge pools of Felitto. We hiked there twize. The first time it rained so much that we all were soaking without having had a bath. I have been very imppressed that this can happen in August in Southern Italy. The second time the weather was brilliant and my husband could have a swimm - as you can see in the picture". S. Krug, holiday apartment Casale Torone (Cilento), September 2009.

"Dear Cilentano-team, attached I send you my favourite photo "ferry to Capri" taken at the harbour of Palinuro. A lovely holiday with great beaches, delicious food and a comfortable house." Family B. Blum, holiday home Villa La Ginestra (Cilento), July 2009.

"... it has been a nice and exciting day togehter with the family Allegra in Tindari. Greetings to the family Allegra if you're in contact with them." A. Nitsch, holiday home Villa Zappalà (Sicily) August 2009.

Approach to the harbour from the bathing bays near Scario. Family Wagener, Villa Niky, August 2009.

"During our second stay at Casa Niky in Scario we discovered new things and rediscovered known ones. Our desire for sun, blue sea and romantic coasts was completely satisfied during our two-week stay and combined with wonderful culinary pleasures. Scario, the little village on the edge of the Gulf of Policastro, was an ideal starting point for excursions to the surroundings. The exposed location of the holiday home with a wonderful view of the gulf incited us to reading and dreaming - dolce vita at its best!" Family Wagener, Villa Niky, August 2009.

Beach in Diamante, Calabria. P. Santucci, Villetta Spagnolo, Villetta degli Ulivi (Cilento), July 2009.

"Marina di Pisciotta is a beautiful little town with a super restaurant, great promenade and good public beach. Definitely visit Maratea for a day: plenty of nice shops, great views and very good restaurants. For the best beaches, drive to Diamante in Calabria where you will find golden sand beaches and very clean water. Drive a little further to Belvedere Alta to see the castle, 11th century town and great vistas." P. Santucci, Villetta Spagnolo, Villetta degli Ulivi (Cilento), July 2009.

„Dear Cilentano Team, four times in a row we visited the Cilento – is there anything more beautiful???? For cyclists the region is simply wonderful, nice people, quiet streets, fantastic views, exhausting climbs and wonderful downhills. Here my favourite tour in summer 2009:

Start at the big roundabout at Palinuro in direction of Marina di Pisciotta, always continue in direction of Marina, cycle past the station and high above the coast down to Marina on the mole – wonderful view of Pisciotta and Capo Palinuro. Now the exhausting part! Turn back and cycle the serpentines in direction of Pisciotta, cycle through the nice village and follow the road until Ascea. There you turn right in direction of Terradura. The climb until Terradura is easy, after that the exhausting part begins. The difficult climb is worthwhile due to the fantastic panorama during the whole climb. Cycle through Cantona and after about one kilometre turn right in direction of Rodio. The downhill to Rodio is very steep and the road is very narrow. From Rodio on, continue in direction of Pisciotta where you can enjoy some refreshment at the Bar “Tre Fontane”. After that follows the racy downhill on the upper coast road back to Palinuro – who likes, can enjoy the great view of the beach “Saline” and Capo Palinuro. Cari saluti.” A. Schlesies, Villa Tramonto (Cilento), June 2009.

Family Naber in particular liked "Villa Niky, hiking, the sea, the landscape, simply everything!". Their special Cilento-tip: "Hiking along the Calore and taking a swim in the splendid water and the lovely beach between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota." Picture: Mill in the Bussento gorge. W. Mayland, holiday home Villa Niky, June 2009.

"Hello dear Cilentano-team, thank you very much arranging our holiday accommodation! Our holidays have been really great - everything has been OK. As attachment we send the questionnaire and a photo of the owner, who always cooked such nice things for our son. We hope we can come back soon to the Cilento." W. Mayland, Villino Pagano, June 2009.

I. Meciarova, Villa Gabella (Cilento), June 2009.

"Thank you for great holidays. The holiday home is really very nice. The sea has been crystall clear, nice sandy beaches... excellent for holidays with children. There is such a lot to do and see, therefor only one week has been not enough. We hope we'll come back once." I. Meciarova, Villa Gabella (Cilento), June 2009.
