Above the Gulf of Policastro

On the southern border of the Cilento on a hill above the Gulf of Policastro lies the small, a little sleepy village of Ispani. Ispani offers the welcome possibility of retreat from the rat-race of everyday life and at the same time the desired vicinity of the sea with a beautiful landscape. It is suited for a bathing holiday as well as for a starting point for hiking and bicycle tours through the untouched mountains of the hinterland and medieval villages.

Ispani has got a small grocery store and a church. Good shopping possibilities you will find in Capitello (approx. 6 km away) and in the little harbour town of Sapri, which can be reached in 20 minutes by car (supermarkets, market square, cafés, pizzerias, restaurants, promenade along the shore, Piazza Plebiscito, IC-station).
