The Zona Marcaneto – high above the Gulf of Policastro – is the preferred residential area of Scario. Hidden in the green with marvellous panorama, wealthy city-dwellers have created their holiday refuge for the summer months.
The Salemi family’s Villa Nelli is one of the most beautiful examples: The small stone house with its 1.800 sqm, beautifully laid-out garden is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by abundant nature. The garden offers a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains of Calabria. The centre of Scario is ca. 1 km, the beach ca. 1.4 km from the house.
The tastefully furnished villa is divided into a bedroom (double bed), a kitchen, a living/dining room and a bathroom with shower/WC/bidet.
The kitchen is open towards the dining room. The living/dining room is separated into a comfortable living area around the chimney and a dining area with stylish massive wooden furniture.
From the living/dining room you have access to the homely furnished, roofed terrace. There is also a spacious sun deck.
The large garden, which is home to a wide-ranging variety of Mediterranean plants, is a perfect place for relaxation.

From the sun deck you reach through a separate exterior entrance another bedroom (double bed). It is equipped with its own bathroom with shower/WC.

In the centre of Scario, easily reached on foot, you find grocery stores, café-bars, restaurants etc.
You may park your car on the fenced property.

Prices per week are valid for the number of persons given in brackets and include bed-linens, towels and final cleaning. Heating (chimney, central heating) will be charged on the spot at cost price.
A deposit of 200.- Euro is due upon arrival.
* An additional amount of € 50.- / week is charged during the periods 05.09.09 - 26.06.10 and 04.09.10 - 08.01.11 , an amount of € 80.- / week during the period 26.06.10 - 04.09.10 if the additional double bedroom (3rd and 4th person) is occupied.
