Villa Niky, an elegant rustico built into the rock on an incline, is the guest house of a Roman architect.
On the edge of the forest, at the end of a small cul-de-sac, stands the guest house on its own fenced property, which cannot be looked into by the owner.
From the curved roofed terrace in front of the house and from the sun deck in the garden you are presented breathtaking views to the port of Scario with the campanile and across the sea to the mountains of Calabria.
The airy holiday home with high ceilings offers two bedrooms (a double bed and a bunk bed), a kitchen-cum-living room and a bathroom with shower/WC/bidet.
The kitchen-cum-living room with wooden ceiling beams is divided into a living corner with stone sofa and a dining corner with built-in kitchen.
In the dining corner at the open fireside the natural rock has been conscientiously integrated into the room by the architect.
Below the roofed terrace and only accessible through a separate exterior entrance, there is another double bedroom* (5th and 6th person) with bathroom (shower/WC/bidet).
Apart from the two terraces, there is another dining spot with stone grill in the garden.
In the garden, you also find an outdoor shower and a washing machine in a separate room.
Besides, Villa Niky is equipped with central heating.
You may park your car on the fenced property.
The centre of Scario is located about 800 m from Villa Niky.
Here you find grocery stores, café-bars, restaurants etc.
The nearest beach is approximately 1.2 km away.
Hiking tip: Directly from the house you may hike to the medieval mountain village of San Giovanni a Piro.
