Paradisiacal, that is what you might call the view from the terraces of Casa Blu: The breathtaking panorama of the Gulf of Policastro with its sea a shimmering turquoise blue makes holiday dreams come true.
In Scario’s exclusive residential area of Marcaneto, the owners have created a true jewel on the premises of their summer residence: embedded in a Mediterranean garden, the appeal of recently built Casa Blu lies with its charming stone façade and its lovely panorama terraces.
The holiday home offers ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday: its unique location in the contemplative residential area above Scario is a promise of relaxation at its best.
Whether you want to read your “holiday” book, enjoy Italian specialities out-of-doors or take an extensive sunbath: at Casa Blu you will feel at ease.
As Casa Blu is only about 1.2 kilometres from the centre of Scario, you can stroll along the beach promenade in the evenings or taste Cilento delicacies at one of the restaurants at the seaside.
There are altogether three spacious terraces at Casa Blu:
The main, ca. 35 m² terrace in front of the house is partly roofed and furnished with a wonderfully tiled stone table and bench where you share meals in a large circle.
From here as well as from the “Belvedere” terrace in the garden, you enjoy a fantastic panorama.
On all three terraces, there are tiled stone benches to sit on. Casa Blu is screened from view: The large, lush and terraced garden with holm oaks and Mediterranean macchia separates your holiday home from the owners’ summer residence.
As its name suggests, Casa Blu is furnished in blue and in a very tasteful manner.

On the first floor of the holiday home, you will find a comfortable kitchen-cum-living room, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower, WC and bidet. Besides the kitchen’s standard equipment, there is also a microwave. The living and dining area with sofa and TV are separated from the kitchen by a small bar.
The kitchen-cum-living room as well as the twin bedroom – beds can be arranged to form a double – give onto the large panorama terrace.
An outdoor staircase takes you to the lower floor of the holiday home where you access a living room and the second twin bedroom via another terrace (In case of up to two occupants, the lower floor can be disposed of only at an extra charge: please see the price list).
The living room walls are unusual with some of the rocks protruding which the house has been “added to”. Furthermore, there is another bathroom with shower and WC on this floor.
The central heating at Casa Blu provides for a pleasant stay, even on cooler days.
On sultry summer days, you will profit from the air conditioning on the lower floor and the fan in the upper bedroom.
The washing machine in a small wash-house alongside Casa Blu comes in handy. There is an outdoor washbasin for your small in-between laundry and the outdoor shower will be welcome to cool off on warm summer days or after a long day at the beach.

Profit from the convenient location of Casa Blu and discover the diversity of the Cilento! The nearest beach is only ca. 1.5 km from the holiday home. Lovers of nature are attracted by the unique maritime wildlife park of Infreschi between Scario and Marina di Camerota, hiking enthusiasts get their money’s worth when climbing Monte Bulgheria. And, you should not miss out on visiting the original medieval mountain village of S. Giovanni a Piro.
